Spring Development
Purpose is to protect and enhance water quality proper collection and distribution of the ground water resources. Can be for any spring or seep development that can be collected and distributed through natural gravity flow.

What does it pay?
Pipe, from the collection point to the distribution point including the outlet, not to exceed 300 feet, and
one distribution point (tank). Permanent fencing costs associated with excluding livestock from the spring or seep collection area. Cost-share will not exceed 75% of the county average cost or actual cost, whichever is less.

Maintenance Life
This practice has a 10-year maintenance agreement that says the landowner will maintain the practice in accordance to NRCS standards for the life of the practice.

Well Decommisioning
Purpose is for abandoned wells to be decommissioned to prevent entry of vermin, debris, fertilizer, pesticides, contaminated surface water into the well or well bore hole.

What will it pay?
100% of actual cost or county average cost with a limit of for both drilled and hand dug wells.

Maintenance Life
This practice has a 10-year maintenance agreement that says the landowner will maintain the practice in accordance to NRCS standards for the life of the practice.
